A space for sharing thoughts related to the advancement of population and occupational health and safety sciences

Fellow researchers,

This space will give me an opportunity to briefly share evolving thoughts, ideas, and questions related to the advancement of population and occupational health and safety sciences. Some of these thoughts might sound provocative or not well substantiated, at first, but it is my intention to initiate a discourse that contributes to moving population and occupational health and safety sciences away from their comfortable inertia.

In an era of fast-paced, revolutionary scientific innovations, Thomas S. Elliot’s words come to mind, when he said, “only those who will risk going too far (will) possibly find out how far one can go.” This may be somewhat of an unconventional road to take, but it does hold the potential to do more good than harm and, as scientists, we can only benefit from challenging ourselves. I anticipate lively exchanges that can offer significant food for thought.

Both researchers and practitioners are invited to participate in this forum. Interested parties can contact me at YApostolopoulos@prolepsis.org.
