Yorghos Apostolopoulos has extensive academic research experience at universities in the U.S. and abroad. His work converges at the nexus of social epidemiology, occupational health, and health policy, with an emphasis on the reduction of health and safety inequities along socioeconomic, demographic, occupational, and geographic lines. He is the lead editor of Complex Systems and Population Health: A Primer and Population Mobility and Infectious Disease, and co/author of numerous articles published in high-impact scientific journals. In recognition of his contributions to complexity science and population health, he has been included in the Map of Complexity Sciences, among the complexity science trailblazers across all sciences.
